SILVER STREAM has designed the most scientifically advanced public transport UV disinfection system for disinfection of the bus interiors and exteriors . The process of bus disinfection can be completed in 5 to 7 minutes per bus and kills more than 99.9 per cent of viruses including COVID19.

BUS are one of the most densely populated and frequently used modes of transportation used by millions of people day in and day out. BUS are built to be compact so walkways and space between seating restrict easy movement which leads to high surface contact by people. As much as BUS transport carries in-numerous number of people, it also carries infinitely more germs.

Silver Stream® Steri Bus is the solution to a clean and safe BUS experience. Silver Stream® Steri Bus has been designed and built specifically for the both the interior and Exteriors of a Bus . The UV unit for the interior is compact as it uses a Mobile Silver Stream® Steri Bus - INT. Depending on the length of the bus the number of Silver Stream® Steri Bus -INT is recommended. Silver Stream® Steri Bus-INT is Mobile as it could be moved manually or automatically .

The Silver Stream® Steri Bus -INT is fitted with high power UV disinfection lamps that reach out in various angles in order to disinfect every inch of the cabin. Model are avilable in automatic or manual movement . These special lamps generate high levels of germicidal ultraviolet radiation lethal to infectious microorganisms such as bacteria, mould, and viruses including the Corona Virus.

The focus is to disinfect passenger seats and overhead storage cabins since these are the most frequently contacted surfaces. Ultraviolet disinfection systems have been used over the last 4 decades in most hospitals in order to disinfect and kill most of the microorganisms including super bugs. This uses scientifically proven technology that is lethal to microorganisms including the coronavirus, ebola, Influenza and SARS. Most Buses these days use chemical disinfectants which can pose a safety hazard as they are inflammable, UV rays on the other hand have no chemical footprint or residue after its application. It’s also important to note that chemical disinfectants are cautioned to be used only in ventilated spaces, this does not qualify its usage in buses . It is also only meant for usage on hard non porous surfaces, and has to wiped dry after 10 seconds of exposure in order to kill bacteria, and 4 minutes of exposure in order to kill a virus, making it improbable considering buses have high fabric/leather/ pvc usage in seating and flooring which covers over 60% of the interiors.

The Silver Stream® Steri Bus-INT can also be used to disinfect the BUS restrooms ( certain models of bus have rest rooms ) which is a commonly and frequently used space by multitudes of people. The exterior of the bus as important to disinfect as the interior of the bus . As bus exterior are often touched my passengers , bus personnel and passenger guest , its important and very necessary to disinfect the exterior of the bus.

The Silver Stream® Steri Bus-EXT has been designed and perfected for fitting into disinfection tunnels to sanitise bus exteriors .

The Tunnel design is provide to the BUS OPERATOR by us to build a tunnel where buses can drive through and get disinfected in a short time of 5 to 7 minutes . The tunnel can be built in brick and cement or in steel . The disinfection system for the tunnels are designed and manufactured by us and can be fitted in all three sides of the bus to disinfect five sides of the bus ,ie sides ,front and back and top . Systems are also available for disinfecting the bottom of the bus Tunnel can be built for one bus at a time or several buses depending on Bus operator requirement.

The Bus enters the disinfection tunnel .the driver places several the Silver Stream® Steri Bus-INT in the walk way of the bus at strategic points. These can be moved manually or automatically, a remote automatic system is preferred .This comes with a camera as and option. The tunnel all around the bus are fixed with Silver Stream® Steri Bus-EXT. The high intensity UV rays from the lamps once started disinfect the bus in 5 to 7 minutes . The Silver Stream® Steri Bus-INT and Silver Stream® Steri Bus-EXT work simultaneously to activate both inside and outside of the bus. Once the disinfection is over the UV system shuts down automatically and the bus can be removed of the Silver Stream® Steri Bus-INT before the driver drives it away no human should be present when he disinfection is taking place.
